Each table is individually made using real reclaimed timber, ensuring no new trees are cut down in the creation of your furniture. Designed for durability, character and everyday family living, this solid wood dining table brings warmth and authenticity to both traditional farmhouse interiors and modern contemporary homes. Sustainable Reclaimed Oak Furniture Our reclaimed oak is sourced as locally as possible to reduce environmental impact and carbon footprint. Each table is crafted in Devon from carefully selected reclaimed beams and floorboards, giving every piece a rich history and natural character. Reclaimed oak dining tables are considered investment furniture - built to last for generations when cared for correctly. Please note: if you are looking for a perfectly flat, machine-finished surface with uniform edges, reclaimed wood may not be suitable. Handmade Rustic Oak Dining Table Features This Devon-made reclaimed oak farmhouse table features: Solid reclaimed oak construction Approx. 1.5 inch thick handcrafted tabletop Elegant hand-turned legs Medium oak wax finish, hand applied Final treatment with natural clear beeswax polish before dispatch Each piece is completely unique, showcasing the natural beauty of reclaimed timber. Natural Character of Reclaimed Oak Reclaimed oak carries the marks of its previous life, which may include knots, grain variation, small cracks, dents and natural imperfections. These are not faults - they are what give the table its authentic rustic character and timeless appeal. Because oak is a dense, slow-growing hardwood (often taking over 100 years to mature), it is exceptionally strong, heavy and durable, making it highly resistant to everyday wear compared to softer timbers. Small variations in surface level, texture and tone are to be expected, as the wood is not engineered or artificially perfected. Size Options Our reclaimed oak farmhouse dining tables are available in the following sizes: 6ft x 3ft6 7ft x 3ft6 8ft x 3ft6 9ft x 3ft6 10ft x 3ft6 Table Dimensions Height: Approximately 78–79cm This height is designed to suit standard dining chairs with a seat height of approximately 45–46cm. Handmade to Order Each reclaimed oak dining table is made to order in Devon with a lead time of approximately 6–8 weeks depending on demand. Every piece is crafted with care, attention to detail and traditional woodworking techniques to ensure long-lasting strength and quality. Delivery Information We offer UK mainland delivery included with your order. Your table will be delivered by a professional two-man delivery team from Devon to a ground floor location only, due to the size and weight of the furniture. If a larger table is ordered, assistance may be required on the day of delivery as oak is very heavy. For transport, your table will be delivered in two sections: Frame/base Tabletop The top will need securing to the base using the supplied wooden fixings. An electric screwdriver is recommended for ease of assembly. Assembly instructions and care guidance will be provided, and we recommend reading our Care Guide before purchase. Aftercare & Maintenance To maintain the beauty of your reclaimed oak dining table, we recommend nourishing the wood every 4 weeks using a clear natural beeswax polish (we recommend Parr’s Clear Beeswax Polish). Upon arrival, we also recommend buffing the table using the complimentary polish provided in your care kit to help it settle and enhance the finish. Wood is a natural material that reacts to its environment by expanding and contracting with changes in moisture and temperature. Care Instructions To keep your table in excellent condition: Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators or fires Use coasters and placemats to prevent marking Do not place hot dishes directly onto the surface Clean spills immediately Failure to maintain moisture levels in the wood may result in movement or natural cracking over time. Please Note We are unable to offer a colour matching service. All tables are finished in a medium wax finish; however, due to the natural and reclaimed nature of the timber, each piece will vary in tone, grain and appearance. These variations are part of the beauty and individuality of handmade reclaimed furniture. As all items are made to order, they are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun unless faulty.
