A beautifully handcrafted bespoke solid oak kitchen island, made to order in Devon and designed for customers who wish to supply their own worktop and drawer handles.
This substantial island combines traditional country styling with practical storage, featuring turned oak legs, deep side and rear rails with a generous beaded edge, and three large drawers running along one side. The result is a timeless, characterful piece of furniture designed to become the heart of a country kitchen.
Each island is individually handmade to order using carefully selected solid oak and finished with a stained and oiled finish, allowing the natural beauty and character of the timber to shine through.

Height: 870mm excluding the worktop
Drawer depth: 650mm front to back
Drawers: Three large drawers to one side
Drawer fronts: Simple, flat-fronted design
Drawer boxes: Handmade from solid timber, grooved for traditional solid drawer slides
Legs: Substantial turned timber legs, approximately 90mm × 90mm, with softly rounded corners
Side and rear rails: Approximately 360mm deep with a large, decorative beaded edge
Finish: Stained and oiled solid oak
Handles: Customer supplied
Worktop: Customer supplied
The drawer handles and kitchen island worktop are not included in the price, allowing you to choose the finishing details to complement your kitchen perfectly. This works particularly well where customers already have a preferred quartz, granite, marble, timber or other worktop supplier.
Handmade to Order
Your kitchen island will be individually handmade to your requirements in Devon. Once your order has been confirmed, we will provide a detailed drawing for approval before your island goes into production and we'll keep you updated throughout the process, and you'll receive confirmation before your furniture is despatched.
