Lovingly handcrafted in our Devon workshop by Ben, our skilled artisan at Frank & Pig, each bench is individually made using handmade patterns, traditional casting and woodworking techniques. Combining hand-cast Devon cast iron with premium compressed bamboo, every bench is built to offer exceptional quality, outstanding durability and a lifetime of enjoyment.

Crafted from naturally weather-resistant compressed bamboo and heavy hand cast iron, this Devon Foundry Outdoor Bamboo Seat has been designed for year-round outdoor or indoor living.
Its substantial weight means it remains firmly in place, even during windy weather, making it ideal for exposed gardens and open spaces. Rain or shine, this is furniture that's designed to be enjoyed every day without the worry of constant maintenance or seasonal storage.
The bamboo develops its beautiful caramel colour naturally as the sugars and starches within the material are caramelised during production, creating a warm finish that only becomes richer with age.

Care & Maintenance
Our compressed bamboo is incredibly durable and requires very little maintenance.
To preserve its rich caramel tones, we recommend applying a quality exterior furniture oil approximately once a year. Additional oiling can be carried out if you prefer to maintain a freshly finished appearance.
Simply wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
Although designed to remain outdoors all year round, covering the bench during prolonged periods of harsh winter weather will help preserve its finish for even longer.
As every bench is handmade using natural materials, slight variations in grain, colour and texture are all part of its unique character and make every piece one of a kind.

Every Devon Foundry Bamboo Bench is individually handmade to order in our Devon workshop by Ben.
As each piece is crafted by hand, our current lead time is approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on demand.
Your bench will arrive fully assembled via our professional two-person delivery service to Mainland UK addresses.
