We believe the beauty of reclaimed furniture lies in the story held within the timber.
Because our pine has been salvaged from previous buildings and structures, your reclaimed wood dining table may contain natural characteristics including knots, splits, saw marks, dents, uneven textures, weathering and historic markings. These are not imperfections to be hidden - they are part of what makes reclaimed timber so special.
Every piece of reclaimed pine has its own colour, grain and history, meaning your finished table will be completely individual.
We carefully select good-quality salvageable timber to create furniture that is strong, practical and built to last, while retaining the natural rustic character that makes reclaimed wood so desirable.
If you are looking for a perfectly uniform, smooth and flawless table surface, reclaimed timber may not be the right choice for you. If, however, you love furniture with character, texture and a sense of history, our handmade reclaimed pine tables are made for exactly that.
Handmade to Order in Devon
Every Frank & Pig reclaimed pine dining table is handmade to order in our Devon workshop, allowing us to give each piece the individual care and attention it deserves.
Our tables are finished by hand in our signature medium wax finish using natural clear beeswax polish. This enhances the warmth and character of the reclaimed pine while providing a practical finish for everyday dining.
Our current lead time is approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on demand. Once your order has been confirmed, we will provide an estimated dispatch date.

Table Height
Approximate table height: 78–79 cm.
Our dining tables are designed to work with standard dining chairs with a seat height of approximately 45 – 46cm.
If you are planning to use alternative seating, stools or unusually high chairs, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss the most suitable table height.
Delivery & Assembly
We deliver throughout UK Mainland addresses using a professional two-person delivery service, which is included with your order.
Your reclaimed refectory dining table will arrive in two sections:
Table frame
Table top
Wooden fixings are supplied for assembly. We recommend using an electric screwdriver to make assembly easier.
Assembly instructions and our furniture care guide will be emailed to you following your order.
Caring for Your Reclaimed Pine Dining Table
Reclaimed wood is a natural material and will continue to respond to changes in its environment after your table arrives in your home.
We recommend using a high-quality natural clear beeswax polish regularly to nourish and protect the timber. We use and recommend Parr's Bees Wax Polish, and a complimentary sample pot of clear beeswax polish is supplied with your table.
Once your table is in position, we recommend giving the table top a good buff to help the wood settle into its new environment.
For everyday care:
Use placemats and coasters to help prevent marks
Never place hot dishes directly onto the table
Avoid positioning your table in direct sunlight
Keep furniture away from radiators and other direct heat sources
Use suitable furniture pads if you have underfloor heating
Reapply clear beeswax polish monthly to maintain the finish

Important Information About Reclaimed Timber
Every reclaimed pine table is unique, so the colour, grain, texture and overall appearance will vary from the photographs shown on our website.
All tables are finished in our signature medium wax finish, but because reclaimed timber varies naturally, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.
Natural movement, character markings and variations in reclaimed timber are expected characteristics of this type of furniture and are not considered manufacturing defects.
As our furniture is handmade to order, cancellation and returns are subject to our terms and conditions. Once production has begun, bespoke and made-to-order furniture cannot normally be returned simply because the customer has changed their mind.
