Bring timeless rustic character into your home with our Handmade Reclaimed Pine Refectory Table, handcrafted in our Devon workshop using genuine reclaimed pine timber. Designed to combine traditional craftsmanship with practical everyday living, each table is individually made to order using carefully sourced salvaged wood — creating a truly unique dining table full of warmth, texture, and history.

Built from reclaimed beams and floorboards, no two tables are ever identical. Every knot, grain pattern, saw mark and aged imperfection tells a story, giving your handmade refectory table authentic farmhouse charm that simply cannot be replicated with newly manufactured furniture.

Whether styled in a rustic farmhouse kitchen, a country cottage, a modern industrial dining room, or a contemporary family home, our solid Refectory Dining Table creates a beautiful focal point for gathering, dining, entertaining, and everyday family life.

Authentic Reclaimed Wood Character

Our reclaimed pine refectory tables are intentionally rustic and designed to celebrate the natural beauty of aged timber. Because reclaimed wood has lived a previous life, your table may feature characterful imperfections including knots, small splits, saw marks, dents, uneven textures, weathering and historical markings. These natural features are not faults or defects — they are part of the individuality and authenticity that make reclaimed wood furniture so desirable.

If you are looking for a perfectly smooth or uniform surface, reclaimed timber furniture may not be suitable. We carefully select only high-quality salvageable timber to ensure every table remains sturdy, practical, and long-lasting while preserving its natural rustic appearance.

Handmade to Order

Every Refectory Table is handcrafted to order with great care and attention to detail in our Devon workshop. Because each piece is individually made by hand, our current lead time is approximately 4–6 weeks depending on demand. Once your order has been confirmed, we will provide an estimated dispatch date.

Delivery Information

We deliver throughout UK Mainland addresses using a professional two-person delivery service. Your reclaimed refectory table will arrive in two sections:

  • Table frame/base

  • Tabletop

Wooden fixings are included for assembly — we recommend using an electric screwdriver for ease. Assembly instructions and a furniture care guide will be emailed following your order.

Reclaimed Wood Furniture Aftercare

To keep your reclaimed pine dining table looking its best, we recommend applying a high-quality natural clear beeswax polish regularly to nourish and protect the timber. We recommend Parr's Bees Wax Polish. A complimentary pot of clear beeswax polish is supplied with your order.

Once your table is in position, we advise giving the tabletop a good buff to help the wood settle into its new environment. As wood is a natural material, it will naturally expand and contract with changes in temperature and moisture levels.

Important Care Recommendations

  • Use placemats and coasters to help prevent marks

  • Do not place hot dishes directly onto the tabletop

  • Avoid positioning furniture in direct sunlight

  • Keep away from radiators and direct heat sources

  • Use furniture pads if you have underfloor heating

  • Reapply beeswax polish monthly to maintain protection and appearance

Please read our full Reclaimed Furniture Care Guide located at the foot of our website before purchasing.

Important Information

Please note that due to the unique nature of reclaimed timber, every handmade table will vary in colour, grain, texture, and overall appearance from the photographs shown. All tables are finished in our signature medium wax finish; however, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

Because all furniture is handmade to order, our reclaimed tables are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun. Natural movement, character markings, and variations within the timber are expected characteristics of reclaimed wood furniture and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Should you experience any issue relating to the craftsmanship or manufacture of your furniture, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
