Because the wood has lived a previous life, every bench may contain original knots, grain variations, saw marks, splits, nail markings, dents and uneven textures. These natural characteristics are not faults or defects — they are what give reclaimed wood furniture its individuality and authentic character.
No two benches will ever be exactly alike. The colour, grain and markings will vary naturally, making your handmade dining bench a truly individual piece of furniture.

Handmade to Order in Devon
Every Frank & Pig reclaimed wood dining bench is handcrafted to order in our Devon workshop.
We take care to select and prepare each piece of reclaimed timber before carefully constructing and finishing your bench. As every bench is made individually, natural variations in colour, grain, texture and appearance are to be expected.
Our current lead time is approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on demand. Once your order has been confirmed, we will provide an estimated dispatch date.

Delivery is made to a ground floor location. Your reclaimed bench seat arrives fully assembled and ready to use.
Important Information About Reclaimed Timber
Because reclaimed timber is naturally unique, every handmade bench will vary in colour, grain, texture and overall appearance from the photographs shown on our website.
Natural knots, markings, splits, saw marks and variations in the timber are expected characteristics of reclaimed wood furniture and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Our furniture is handmade to order, so reclaimed bench seats cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind once production has begun.
