Handmade Solid Ash Kitchen Island
A beautifully crafted, made-to-order kitchen island designed to bring warmth, practicality and a little more character to the heart of your kitchen.
Handmade from solid ash, this substantial island combines traditional craftsmanship with a clean, understated design. The pale, natural character of ash works particularly well in both country and more contemporary kitchens, bringing a lighter feel than oak while still offering the strength and durability you would expect from a piece of handmade furniture.
The 30mm solid ash block-effect worktop gives the island a lovely sense of weight and substance, while the chunky 90mm square legs keep the overall design simple and timeless.
At the rear, a generous indent provides comfortable space for stools, making it an ideal spot for morning coffee, a quick breakfast or simply keeping family and friends close while you cook.
Beneath the island, the lower shelf is fitted with traditional pot boards, providing useful open storage for cookware, baskets, serving pieces or everyday kitchen essentials.
Two drawers to the front offer additional storage and are fitted with soft-close runners for smooth, quiet operation.
Each island is handmade to order in the South West of England and finished with oil to enhance the natural beauty and grain of the ash while providing a durable, practical surface for everyday family life.
