This one-of-a-kind piece features three spacious upcycled wine box drawers, a solid two inch thick food safe, oiled top, a generous overhang for tucking bar chairs or stools underneath and beautifully hand turned legs. With delivery included, you can have this unique and practical breakfast bar or kitchen island delivered straight to your home.
Handcrafted in our Devon workshop, this rustic country reclaimed Pine Kitchen Island is made from real wood and, better still, made from reclaimed and salvaged local pine wood, so you can own your new furniture content in the knowledge that no new trees were cut down to make it. It is a rustic and characterful piece of furniture. If you are looking for a perfectly flat surface and flat edges, reclaimed wood would not be recommended.
Your Reclaimed Pine Kitchen Island or Breakfast Bar will be constructed from old beams and floorboards to provide a timeless, rustic charm, most of the wood stock used is hundreds of years old. They are solidly constructed to last a lifetime and each one is totally unique. Only quality salvageable timbers are used to craft our furniture meaning they will be long-lasting and sturdy.
Your Kitchen Island is crafted with care and attention and this does take time. Every Kitchen Island is made to order with a lead time of approximately 6 - 8 weeks depending on levels of demand.
Unevenness and small shallows in the wood are to be expected. The top of your island may not be perfectly flat as reclaimed wood is not an engineered or manufactured surface. Timbers are arranged to showcase each, bump, dip, knot and crack as these features give our pieces their individuality and charm. If you are looking for a perfectly flat surface, reclaimed wood would not be suitable. As such, unstable items, such as wine glasses or vases may not sit flat in certain areas.
We are able to deliver to UK Mainland addresses. We use a professional two man team to deliver from Devon. These are large and heavy items so please be aware delivery is to a ground floor location only.
Your Kitchen Island will be delivered in two sections; the frame/base and then the top. The top will need securing to the base with wooden fixings included, but we do recommend using an electric screwdriver for ease and speed.

Aftercare:
We have applied osmo oil to protect your kitchen island work surface. Avoid placing hot pans upon the surface at all times. Avoid leaving/spilling strong substances and especially avoid baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. Protect surfaces against splatter and wipe up all spillages promptly.
Ongoing Maintenance:
Depleted surfaces oiled with osmo oil will no longer repel water and will show signs of wear.
When you see signs of this, please clean with osmo spray cleaner. Once cleaned, damp rinse the surface and dry thoroughly. Once dried, apply Osmo Top Oil very thinly to surface using a lint free cloth.
Please note: We are not able to offer a colour matching service. All of our furniture is finished in a medium oil finish; however, due to the unique nature of reclaimed wood, every piece we create is bespoke and may differ in appearance from the photographs shown. These natural variations are part of the charm and individuality of your handmade furniture. As such, we are unable to accept returns due to a change of heart. We also cannot take responsibility for damage resulting from failure to follow the guidance provided in our Care Guide. Made to order furniture is non-returnable as these are custom orders and non-refundable once they have been built.
Reclaimed Country Pine Breakfast Bar Kitchen Island
Orders are processed within 1 - 5 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. Although we will do our best to ensure your delivery arrives on time, some couriers experience delays which are beyond our control for which we cannot accept responsibility.
We will deliver your table from Devon using a professional two man team. These tables are large and heavy and we can only deliver to a ground floor location. Our handmade, reclaimed pine sustainable furniture is delivered to your home completely packaging free ensuring no waste. Our partnering couriers are experts in the handling, transportation and storage of our handmade furniture. We ensure that every one of our handmade furniture items are handled with extra care to ensure they reach you in pristine condition with the use of cotton protection cloths and blankets to ensure no wasteful packaging.
We would also ask that in the event of there being an issue with your reclaimed furniture, that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can take any appropriate action. To make a damage claim against our couriers we require photographs of the product in any packaging with the delivery label clearly visible.
Delivery to UK Mainland only.
Any custom sized, bespoke piece of furniture must be cancelled within 7 days of your order. You will not be able to cancel or amend once the 7 days has passed.
We cannot accept returns on amended items, custom / bespoke products, special orders, bespoke designs or personalised items. We are unable to accept returns due to a change of heart.

It is important to say that understandably Frank & Pig cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from reclaimed furniture not being cared for appropriately, and we cannot be held responsible remedying an issue caused by not giving it the love it deserves.
