Handmade Two Bay Bin Store with Reclaimed Slate Roof
Handmade Two Bay Bin Store with Reclaimed Slate Roof
A beautifully handmade two bay wooden bin store with a reclaimed Welsh Slate Roof, designed to keep your wheelie bins neatly tucked away while adding a little more character to your garden or outdoor space.
Handmade to order in the UK by Frank & Pig, each bin store is individually built rather than mass-produced or supplied as a flat-pack. We use substantial 70mm tanalised timber posts, shiplap timber sides and doors, and a traditional slatted timber back to create a strong, long-lasting structure that is designed to cope with the British weather.
Finished with a genuine reclaimed Welsh slate roof, every store has its own natural variation and character. The aged slate works beautifully alongside both traditional and contemporary homes, making this practical piece of garden storage feel more like a considered part of your property.
Two Bay Wheelie Bin Storage
This two bay bin store is designed to accommodate two standard UK wheelie bins, keeping them securely contained and out of sight while still allowing easy access when you need to use them.
Each bin has its own separate bay, with enough height to allow the lids to be opened and the bins filled without having to remove them from the store.
The front is enclosed with sturdy shiplap doors, fitted with heavy-duty galvanised ironmongery, while the timber slatted back and shiplap sides provide strength and ventilation.
It's a simple way to transform an otherwise rather unsightly collection of wheelie bins into something that looks at home in your garden.
Built from Proper Timber
We believe outdoor storage should be made to last. This bin store is constructed using 70mm tanalised pressure-treated timber posts, providing a substantial framework capable of standing up to everyday outdoor use.
The timber is treated for exterior use and the roof is finished with reclaimed natural Welsh slate, giving the store both durability and the timeless appearance we look for in our handmade garden furniture and storage.
We also use FSC-certified timber, sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Reclaimed Slate Roof
The reclaimed Welsh slate roof is one of the details that makes a Frank & Pig bin store different.
Rather than using a standard modern roofing material, we use genuine reclaimed slate, giving each roof its own subtle variations in colour, texture and weathering. It's a beautiful, durable finish that complements the handmade timber construction.
